About Foot Health Medic
Welcome to Foot Health Medic, where your foot health is our top priority. I’m Andrew, the founder and lead practitioner, with a deep passion for promoting wellness from the ground up. My journey into foot health is rooted in my extensive background as a paramedic, where I spent over 15 years providing critical care in high-pressure situations and which in part inspired the practice name.
As a paramedic, I was privileged to care for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. While tending to a wide range of medical needs, I noticed how foot health often played a crucial role in overall well-being. Some health issues I encountered were directly or indirectly related to poor foot care, such as complications in diabetics to mobility issues in the elderly. This realization inspired me to further my expertise and focus on a preventative approach to health – thus starting my journey with feet.
Drawing from my experience in emergency medical care, I bring a unique perspective to foot health. I’ve seen first hand how small issues can escalate if left untreated and how crucial proper foot care is to maintaining mobility, independence, and quality of life. At Foot Health Medic, I combine my medical knowledge and experience with specialized foot care training to offer compassionate, thorough, and effective treatment.
